Textile Textures is a growing digital archive of textile materials, for the 3D garment design workflow.
All textures have the following maps:
The textile textures are captured with Bandicoot Imaging Sciences software.
They are scanned from real textiles. The resolution per texture might vary.
We will continue R&D on the Textile Textures, to enrich the archive and increase the texture quality.
Use these PBR texure maps to texture cloth in any 3D rendering software.

Textures are needed in all 3D modeling workflows. Textile textures are not easy to capture, due to the natural complexity of the twister fibres that are spun and woven together into cloth.
The Pattern Blocks Archives strives to capture and digitalise tools and resources for the 3D garment construction workflow. Digitalisation turns assets into the digital archive of their physical counterparts.
