Make no mistake, this crescent light is not our moon, it’s Mercury. Though Mercury is visible to the naked eye from Earth, this is only possible in a short time-frame during dusk and dawn. One could never see it against the blackness of space. This art print gives you the opportunity to gaze at Mercury in all its natural beauty.
That little planet, closest to the sun, becomes the focal point in this unique space art print.
Recovered from the visual archives aboard The Library, this high-resolution 3D-rendered artwork attempts to catch a glimpse of Mercury in the distance. The planet, named after the Roman messenger god, represents swiftness, trade, travel and communication. Place this art print into your home as a reminder of the planet’s meaning, or simply to appreciate its underappreciated presence.
