This is the second concept trailer for Syntactic Labyrinths, our independent transcendental science-fiction universe exploring the preservation of human knowledge and the collective mission of sending it to the Andromeda galaxy. After Earth is hit by a devastating solar blast, Phaeton's Flare, humanity takes refuge in the Settlement of Babylonia and starts building a repository. Known as The Library, this specialized archival vessel is equipped with the data storage capacity to safeguard the collective memory of mankind.
Sent into the deep expanse of space, the vessel is set to travel an almost infinite journey toward the Andromeda Galaxy in hopes of being discovered by an outside intelligence. The structural integrity and operational safety of this journey are governed by automated systems, specifically the THINKER and RECEIVER computer modules.
To bring this world to life we are creating a 3D Animated short film and its development is being made open-source. Together, we can all benefit from the top-tier industry solutions that are required to make worlds like Syntactic Labyrinths possible on the screen.
Developing Syntactic Labyrinths as an open-source film prodution means that every solution we discover is provided back directly to the community. Artists and technicians can download the Resources and learn from the Research and Learning material, or contribute a better solution themselves. This second concept trailer showed us how far we truly were from achieving the Desired Effect of Syntactic Labyrinths.
