Watch Time Pass

Visual Arts & Design

This video provides a one-hour rhythmic ticking clock soundscape and liminal white room visual ambience designed to induce deep focus, meditation, and creative workflow. Framed around our symbolic artwork 17 Over Blauw, the piece serves as a functional atmosphere to block out environmental noise during intense writing, studying, or creative sessions. It presents a quiet, minimalist environment where the rigid structure of measured hours softens into intuitive imagination.

As a core concept within the studio, 17 Over Blauw represents the exact psychological moment when the time it takes to do an action disappears and artistic flow takes over. Rather than calculating temporal progress, the visual marks the relative time of human imagination, suggesting that it is indefinitely seventeen minutes past the blue somewhere in the world. This visual installation is an open prompt to step outside ordinary boundaries, expanding the space you allow yourself to think, feel, and construct new ideas.

“Seventeen minutes past the indefinite blue is not a time on a clock, but a physical feeling. It evokes the timeless essence of artistic thinking, reminding us that creation exists entirely outside the boundaries of the ordinary world.”

The visuals for this soundscape are captured directly from our archival collection. To bring this minimalist atmosphere into your physical workspace, explore the fine art print in our storefront.
