Eve

What is that strange flavor? I keep tasting it in my dreams...

Eve is a major character and possibly a spiritual antagonist of Apple Rot.

In Apple Rot, she is your girlfriend who shares an apartment with you, and is often seen sleeping, showering or craving apples from the Genesis Orchard. You must protect her, as Eve has been acting more and more strangely lately, and if she loses her mind you will never forgive yourself.

In Apple Rot, Eve is sleeping next to you in bed when your apartment is invaded by two nightmarish figures Sad Tall and Short Angry.

Description

Eve is a young woman with black hair, an awfully pale skin and as of recently a light greyish eye color. Most of Eve’s personality, traits and life can be described as “used to”. Eve has drastically changed over the past few months. A change so rapid that You, as her partner, have difficulty remembering all the details of what she used to be like. 

Eve used to be outgoing, optimistic and with such energy one might mistake her for an insomniac. She used to be seen with a bright smile on her face and pure joy of life. These days however, Eve is often seen staring blankly into the void. There is little to no reaction you can get out of her. 

She takes long showers during which she can be heard softly murmuring in herself. While for the remainder of the day Eve spends most of her time sleeping. During her deep sleep she seems calm, or unbothered. 

One thing that always sparks Eve’s interest is food. Especially when there are apples. And most especially when the apples come from the Genesis Orchard. This particular brand of apples truly puts a smile on her face. 

In her moments of clarity, which seem ever rarer these days, Eve can be seen writing in her diary. Which she keeps safely locked up in her bedside drawer.
