Sad Tall

"What shall we do about these two?"

Sad Tall is a major character and antagonist of Apple Rot.

Sad Tall has been the way he is for a long time. He himself couldn’t tell you what he was before. He has no memories of the man he was before. But a long, long, long time ago, Sad Tall was a living, human person. 

His sins brought him to the Genesis Orchard, and now his soul is tied to its soil. He wanders the Orchard and seeks lost souls to feed to the Orchard.

Sad Tall is not a ghost, but he is dead. He is an undead, rotting corpse. He doesn’t have many wishes or desires of his own anymore, he is a puppet controlled by the Orchard. The only thoughts that linger in his rotten brain are those he died with: his obsession with the Orchard and insatiable hunger to consume more Rot. 

His obsession with the Rot has dismorphed his body and soul. Where he was once normal, his limbs are now stretched and his face permanently deformed with sadness and spite.

In Apple Rot, Sad Tall appears without clear motive...

Sad Tall one day unlocked the apartment of You and Eve, on a seeming robbery attempt together with Short Angry. It is said that Sad Tall is spiteful and it brings out anxiety and regret in those in its proximity…
