One of the Syntactic Labyrinths assets I use almost daily is our 32-Bit Star System. In digital VFX there are essentially two major challenges when doing stars: flickering stars when in motion and not enough dynamic range.
If you want to close down the aperture, increase the shutter-speed or lower the exposure, you'll need enough white values for it to not turn grey.
Me and Erick Alcaraz ran into these challenges immediately when we started Syntactic Labyrinths. There has been at least 2 years of testing with these files to make it production friendly.
And remember, this is not only for space movies. This is super useful for Day 4 Night as well!
