When making renders of Saturn I’m looking for compositions from the perspective of graphic design. Combining that with naturalistic cinematography is the one thing I’m always aiming for.
Throughout my journey as a filmmaker and 3D artist I’ve been mostly inspired by the work of Yasujiro Ozu. To the point that I almost exclusively use the 50mm lens.
It’s a limitation that I personally love. And it has, over time, defined the look of most Blauw Films projects. Not many dramatic perspectives here :)
