Since we started working on Syntactic Labyrinths, around the year 2018, we knew that we needed full 3D animated characters in hazmat suits.
The journey started of designing, and most definitely redesigning the hazmat suits countless times.
In the process we realised there were different versions of the hazmat suits for different narrative situations in the world of Syntactic Labyrinths.
From the more rugged designs for the Treasure Hunters collecting historical artefact in the dangerous world outside. To the sleek industrial designs for the Archivists working on Level 2 of the Settlement of Babylonia, scanning in the collected artefacts.
We have officially finished the design by Charlotte Simons for the Level 2 Hazmat Suit. And thanks to the amazing fabric textures provided by Bakermat Antwerp we have completed the texturing.
The final film will be fully rendered in Chaos Corona for that extra cinematic quality, that is honestly difficult to find in most render engines!
