Syntactic Labyrinths is our attempt at creating an expansive science fiction universe. It tells the story of a world after a devastating solar flare that has forced all of society to seek refuge in one place:
The Settlement of Babylonia
Here, while doomed, mankind embarks on a last-ditch effort to preserve the legacy of humankind. Together they build a highly advanced unmanned spaceship: the Library.
This vessel stores a near infinite amount of data, which contains our collective knowledge. The data is managed by two supercomputers, taking on the role of intergalactic librarians. They are called THINKER and RECEIVER. One made to archive and manage data, the other made to continuously collect new data.
This is THINKER.
