To achieve the level of realism nescessary for Syntactic Labyrinths, each planet needs to be RnD'd to completion. An incredibly challenging aspect of creating planet Earth is volumetric clouds.
Here are some of last weeks planet Earth R&D for Syntactic Labyrinths. I was very happy with how the realism turned out. Even though there is lots and lots of work to do to achieve the right level of realism we recognise from satellite imagery.
