To achieve a photorealistic reflection on the ocean surface of Planet Earth in 3D, it was very important to explore Rayleigh and Mie Scattering. These natural phenomena play with the refraction of light as it travels through the density of our atmosphere. Thus resulting in a "sunset" as the sun is angled along the edges of our planet.
This is the first Look Dev render for Syntactic Labyrinths in which we really started to explore the reflective surface of our planet.
