In Syntactic Labyrinths, in the years after the cataclysmic solar flare Earth drastically cooled down. Thick poisonous clouds covered vast areas around the ozone hole. The blocked sunlight caused temperatures to drop in these areas from 50 degrees Celsius to around -70 degrees. There is no sign of survivors in these areas. Mankind outside of the Settlement of Babylonia is as much a mystery as is their future.
Scene 02, shot 04 is actually a background plate with the Library floating in the foreground. However, as that asset isn’t finished yet, here’s just the background plate. I’m quite happy with how the Rayleigh Scattering is working inside of Chaos Corona 8. With about two years of Earth R&D it’s great to start feeling confident in getting quick results.
