Day job: White hat hacker
Looking to escape the slums of Old York as a preteen orphan, Prisma snuck on a ferry to West-Europe and fled the country. She stole a laptop from the moment she docked, and was determined to build a new life for herself. With the help of the internet and some eavesdropping on uni classes, she learned to code and was able to start freelancing before coming of age, without a valid working visa.
At the age of 18 she landed a job at a global tech company during one of their mass-hires and secured European citizenship. While she did not mean to draw any attention to herself, her skills were noticed by her superiors. Before long, she was sent out on contract jobs to fix errors in complex pieces of code that no one else was able to decipher.
Although always shy, she managed to befriend some colleagues through an amateur hackathon, a skill she grew to love.
