Syntactic Labyrinths is our original IP and sci-fi short film. The film is an exploration mankind’s collective consciousness, as well as the syntax of data. This project has grown so much since the start and I’m so proud of how far it has come!
I’m incredibly grateful to the talented artists involved that have delivered fantastic work and has taught me so much about filmmaking. As a child I dreamed of gathering the “Wu-Tang Clan”: getting my favorite artists together to create an original project. I strongly believe creative collaboration, with the right people, delivers the best results.
The story is inspired by La Biblioteca de Babel and applies its thoughts to a time beyond mankind’s existence. What is the purpose of knowledge, became a central question during the production of this film. In a time when mankind is doomed to go extinct their only form of self-preservation becomes passing on their legacy. But when everything ever known to mankind is uploaded to the Library, it’s two supercomputers THINKER and RECEIVER, are the ones dealing with decyphering its syntax.
