Planet Earth consists of such epic texture variations that it's an absolute joy to fly around it in cg. For this render I was looking at color balance and a composition that emphasised depth.
A huge shout out to Olaf Blomerus for the great conversations on making better planet renders! Definitely go check out his Earth renders because they look fire!
I'm pretty happy with how these are turning out as well! Made in Cinema 4D and rendered in Chaos Corona with a tiny bit of compositing in After Effects.
