The Hunt

What started as a one-man passion project has evolved into a global collaboration between talented artists. The goal was to create a AAA/Studio-level animation film independently.

Featuring incredible talent from Love, Death + Robots, Arcane and the Spider-Verse movies, The Hunt is the latest showcase of what creative collaboration can bring to life.

And now that The Hunt is completed, it's officially touring the world’s film festivals. And it’s wonderful news to announce that it has been selected for three major international film festivals this May!

What is The Hunt?

Directed by Diogo Costa and produced by COLA Animation, Studio Kimchi, Studio Unkai and Blauw Films, The Hunt is an animated short film that presents viewers with the chaos of trauma in the battlefield of war.

A group of soldiers finds itself lost in the woods, While on a break, the protagonist, The Sinner, notices the unusual scars covering the hand of the self-appointed leader of the group, The Damned. In a sudden reaction, triggered by memories of the past, he shoots him in cold blood. The remaining member of the group, The Saint, is caught by surprise by the act. This event unleashes an escalation of the conflict among the soldiers which culminates in a blood-bath of madness...
