Earth Digital

Rendered in Chaos Corona 5 using Earth Digital 1.0 (Currently passed update 3.0)

First of all, I'd like to thank the entire Dragon Ball team for having created and maintained such an impactful IP.

Rest in Peace Akira Toriyama.

I'm a big fan of Dragon Ball Z and especially the moment Gohan and Goku vaporise Cell.
The sense of scale that Gohan's Kamehameha has is beautifully portrayed in the framing.

Creating the Father Son Kamehameha in Cinema 4D and Chaos Corona was a simple process. I used Earth Digital for the planet

  • I used Earth Digital for the planet setup
  • Then I created a tube with a Displacer for the Kamehameha beam
  • Finally I built a Luminance material that uses a Fresnel to ass some variation in the colors

For the stars in the background we used our Free Resource Star System.
It includes 32-bit HDR stars which will look beautiful in your render no matter your camera settings.
